Now I'm not one to religiously follow trends but this platform sandals trend has me head over heels.

What I love about this trend is that it is actually different, which is actually very hard to find nowadays as most trends have already been done before. I believe it all started last summer with the American Apparel JuJu Jelly Sandals, which I loved but by the time I was able to buy a pair the summer was nearly over and England isn't friendly to toes in the winter so I just left it. As I always say when something doesn't go to plan, God is probably saving you for something better and after seeing all the new and improved versions released this season by nearly every single high-street brand I'm actually glad I didn't get those Jellies last summer!
Now I know that sandals aren't everyone's cup of tea, espcailly not with socks!

I'd pear this with a pair of light pink high-waist skinny jeans, light pink brallet & a long light pink over-coat.
Then I'll proudly walk around looking like a giant pig.
