UBER EVERYWHERE

 Clubbing/partying is fun up until you have to go home and return to your responsibilities. Whether it's not wanting to splash out on cab/taxi fare or you just can't be bothered to wait for a night bus we all get pretty lazy when it comes to going home after a night out. In most night life areas there are normally tons of cabs/taxis parked around waiting for customers and most of the time people just crawl in without checking if the cab/taxi is licensed or not. Getting in an unlicensed cab/taxi is basically getting into a strangers car and telling them where you live. If that hasn't freaked you out here are more reasons why you should NEVER EVER get into a random cab/taxi after a night out. 

- Getting into an unlicensed cab/taxi could lead to you possibly getting sexually assaulted 

- Many people that get into unlicensed cabs/taxis are taken to scheduled locations and robbed 

- If the cab/taxi gets into an accident there is a chance it could be uninsured meaning you will not be able to claim any compensation 

- Most unlicensed cabs/taxis are known to overcharging customers on fares and there has been incidents where people claimed the driver locked them in the car until they paid the full amount.

If you don't already know what Uber is,  allow me to explain...

Uber is a registered taxi service that allows you to travel from anywhere to everywhere at any time with the touch of your finger. How it basically works is you download the app onto your mobile device and you fill in your account details (just like you would when using iTunes/ App store) and whenever you need a cab you just open the app and request one. You get get to see your drivers full profile which includes their name, picture and license plate and once you arrive at your destination you don't need to pay any cash as the money is automatically taken from your account ( you can also view an estimate of what your journey may cost before you request your cab). You can also review your driver and help is at the ready if you have any issues with your Uber experience.
